At 39 weeks pregnant, I left the office at lunch for my weekly appointment, where I was told I was 6cm already (2nd baby) but obviously not in active labor. My OB said to meet her at the hospital that evening to get things going. I left, grabbed myself a cheeseburger, and called my husband and my parents who had my 2-year old son. Ate at my desk, turned on all of my OOO, informed my colleagues and my boss I was headed out on mat leave. Went home to pack up, and went to the hospital. The hospitalist broke my water and I had my daughter in 45 minutes, unmedicated. Went back to work 6 weeks later. I am a badass.
